Floating Table

This table started as an idea when a friend gave me a piece of walnut meant for the firewood pile. Instead of burning it, I turned it into an offset table leg with the goal of making the concrete top appear to float. The asymmetry creates visual interest, while the combination of solid walnut and smooth concrete gives the piece a modern yet organic feel. What began as reclaimed material became a unique, functional statement piece.
